SWITCH, the registry for .CH and .LI, has announced it is reducing the cost of a .CH domain name from CHF22 to CHF17 on 1 February 2008.
The reduction is a result of the ongoing growth in the number of .CH domain name registrations. Previously SWITCH reduced the price from CHF27 to CHF22 in September 2007.
As of December 6, there were 1,046,387 .CH domain names (Switzerland) and 50,379 domain names ending in .LI (Principality of Liechtenstein).
