While we are waiting for the announcement who will get Weather.mobi, a similar .mobi launched this week in the Netherlands and Belgium: Weerbericht.mobi
Weerbericht means « Weather Report » or « Weather Forecast » in Dutch. The .mobi website gives a weather forecast in text and in graphics. The content will be refreshed every hour to give the visitor the best actual situation and forecast.
Weerbericht.mobi also integrated a shower radar (in Dutch: buienradar).
Via a map the visitor is able to check the rain history of the last few hours. Weerbericht.mobi has a radar for Europe, the UK, France, Germany and the Netherlands and Belgium.
